And if so, how much time did you take off from running? I haven't run a step in almost two weeks due to what I thought was a cold and chest pain (finally diagnosed yesterday.)
I'm not better yet but wondering how much time other people have had before I ask my dr.
2 months before I could even consider properly training, although to be honest I felt so bad just walking up stairs that training wasn't the priority. For about 3 years had a small niggling pain between ribs, but still ran all my pb's during this period
Lasted about 3 weeks. Be patient and don't train thru it.

Face it, something that hurts with every breath you take (or at least it did for me) is *probably* not something that you should "fight through."
