I am racing a half this weekend. I am in good shape, but have not started specific training. I have been running 55-70 mpw, most of it around 7:00 pace. When I feel really good, I go faster. This usually happens once or twice a week, so I get ~10-15 mpw in the 5:25-6:00 range.
Anyways, I am racing a marathon on Memorial Day weekend and would like to run 2:29:xx. What type of half time would indicate that this is realistic?
