Krav maga is legitimate street fighting art. Jeet Kune do - I am not so sure about. Bruce Lee lost a number of street fights.

Without googling it, I thought BL lost a big fight while developing JKD, then perfected JKD, then was pretty much unbeatable. But I wouldn't bet a mortgage payment on it.
Krav Maga is some wicked shit.

No argument here. I said BL was "pretty much unbeatable". I didn't say JKD is unbeatable.

That is true. I don't know too much about Krav Maga but Jui Jitsui is tough to do on a concrete street.

That is a pretty big implied "if".

Norris studied tang soo do, not karate, though most people would be unable to tell the difference.

My understanding is that true BJJ uses a lot of gi (the clothing) chokes. BJJ can still be extremely effective in the real world, but it loses a little punch going against someone in street clothes (or shirtless).
KM is a mix of boxing, MT, BJJ, judo, and some others... plus, it was expressly developed as a survival martial art for use by the Israeli(?) Special Forces. Doesn't get too much more "real world" than that.

Actually, BL didn't lose that fight. This was a challenge match with a northern shaolin guy named Wong Jack Man. Lee won the fight, but apparently was dissatisfied with his performance and began to move away from pure wing chun to a more eclectic approach.

I would agree that wrestling is one of the most effective martial arts. I think a good part of that is that many wrestlers have been doing it for a long time. Many of the collegiate wrestlers did it for 4 years in high school and another 4 years in college. You do anything for 8 years on a consistent basis and you should be pretty good. Except for running perhaps LOL.
No.
Miyagi never fight in tournament or for other than survival.
Miyagi kill hand to hand as part of 442nd and get Medal of Honor.
Miyagi no more fight for sport or money or fun.

How many Krav Maga fighters are winning titles?
You gotta put your money where your mouth is. If your style is legit, real-life fighters who fight for a living would be using it. And real fighters are using boxing, BJJ, wrestling, and kickboxing.
