I recently noticed that Dogfishhead changed their bottles and packaging. Logo is still the same, but hidden among a bunch of garish marketing. It looks a lot more like something from ABInbev or MillerCoors now. Why would they do this? I thought the same thing when Sam Adams did it a few years ago as well.
They took a pretty streamlined and clean look and made it obnoxious and tacky. It just seems odd.
Any ad folks want to let me in on the reasoning? I understand the notion of "standing out" on the shelf, but IMHO they did stand out. Not they are just another BRAWNDO! amount the other BRAWNDO!s
