Top 10?
Top 10?
Why are you asking this question?
No one will know until the race is complete.
Anything anyone says is baseless speculation. No has any idea, so do not even start stupid discussions like this.
Maybe top 20. Maaaybe.
Hey bbc, get sick!!
I feel that Rupp should get top ten if not top 5. He appears to have the talent but is the training there?
Well, Ritz was 3rd a few years back. Rupp isn't the cross runner he was, but a top 10 finish could happen.
Not sure, but I am sure it will be higher than you ever did.
I am saying Rupp will finish top 17
No, but top twenty.

How about that Jeremy Mineau from Washington. He's been lighting it up lately. And he's got dredlocks, an instant advantage.
Rupp gets top 8, no questions asked.
Teg was 5th. This will be interesting to see if Alberto can train a guy with better track credentials in high school to a level as well as Shumacher did. I bet not.
It's impressive that Jeremy ran so well. This time last year i was watching him cruise a 4:30 mile and MA's track during a dual meet, testing the waters for a 2 mile later in the season.
5th place for Rupp, 3rd for the American junior team
He will be lucky yo crack top 20. To many fast juniors this year compared to last. Lets not forget Ritz was a beast and Rupp is no Ritz.
i seem to recall rupp running 13:36 last summer... faster than ritz ever did when he was 18... but XC is different i know, and ritz is def a better cross runner
13th
I don't mean to diminish Rupp's achievement, but his 13:37 was on a super fast track, one on which Browne ran 13:16. I hope it doesn't sound perverse, but Lindgren's 13:44 is vastly better, and Ritz's 13:44.7 is better as well. Also, when has Rupp run a lights out cross country race. We should remember that he didn't win the Footlocker last year (if memory serves, he came in third) and he had a stress fracture this past Fall.

We shall see.
I was at Vancover, WA for Ritz and Tegs race when they were Juniors. If memory serves, then ran crazy fast, low 24's for 8k compared to the 25 something Rupp ran. I know times don't matter, but it was the same course. I remember hearing the Teg and Ritz last 4k would have placed them in the top 10 or better in the Senior 4k race that had been run the previous day. They were and are both studs. Rupp will be in the top 10. Anything better will be great for the young "Pro". I still think Ritz would have handed Rupp his ass in any race had they been the same age...
I will be surprised if he even finishes. DNF!!
NOt in any way am i sticking up for Rupp because i could care less how he does, but i did want to get the facts straight for all those dum a$$ who think they know every thing. When TEg and Ritz ran in Vancouver the course was not as muddy as it was for this years runners. I know bc i ran the race. But, i dont think it makes too much of a difference bc Ritz was a hell of a cross runner, plus u have to factor in that rupp really wasnt being pushed, he gapped the field pretty easy. We will see at worlds, i predict top 10.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
