What?that workout predicts nothing.
Here's an idea.....run the 1500 and find out what your time is. Question answered.
usually for me, if I am running 10x400m at 65 seconds then I know I am probably in shape for a 4:20 mile, give or take. When I ran 4:40 mile, I was pretty comfy running 70s. This trend seems to make sense for most kids on my team. 10x400 might be the best 1500 or mile predictor training workout in my opinion.
That workout will take you over 25 minutes and the intervals are so short that it won't tell you your 1500m fitness. Why not just do a 1500 time trial??? Or run 1200m.
Can you explain why a time 1500m time trial is not your choice?

Just want to clear up that this is not a workout I'm planning on doing, just one I've done in the past (and been told it was a 1500 simulator) and I was wondering if it was worthwhile.
