Okay, I just ramped up the running for summer and the temps have been consistently above 80 degrees (without too much humidity) and I log upwards to 12 hours a week of running. I am also what you can say 10 lbs overweight in the fat department. I am not fat at all, just bmi is probably 20 instead of normal 19.
My sweat is embarrassing. I run without the shirt, just to hold it in my hand and try to wipe sweat off my belly before it dribbles all over my shorts. It doesn't really work because I am a slippery mess after 15, sometimes 10 minutes of running.
I eat a lot of sodium foods and green vegetables to try to retain electrolytes.
I believe I'm at 1 lb of sweat per mile ran. Sometimes I wear a bandana and can squeeze out 4 oz of sweat from my four head every 15 minutes.
And on top of that the sweat for some reason dribbles down and only fills up my left shoe. Also, my arms sweat and flings water to the sides as I go.
Should I cut my hair? It's about 5 inches long and I wear a hat. Would I be better with a buzz cut and a headband?
What else can I do to decrease the sweat? IS it because I am flabby and the body is melting it?
