I thought they both were supposed to run Payton Jordan, any idea where they are trying to get their qualifying standards from? Are they banking on an Olympic qualifier at the trials?

Ritz had strained his hamstring, which led him to pull out of the 8k Shamrock Shuffle in Chicago, on April 3. My guess is he doesn't want to take any chances and will run the 10,000 at the Pre Classic, on May 27. About Goucher, I don't have any idea.

Well, first they both need qualifiers for the Trials.
Maybe Ritz at Pre and Goucher at Portland Track Fest?
Neither have plans to run on the track.
Right after the trials they were speaking with their hearts.
No Abdi as well.

Interesting theory. Anything to back this up? I can see Ritz backing out because of his injuries but not Goucher who has been so outspoken. Does she not already have a 10K qualifier?
Kara back on the weed.
My buddy saw kara smoking weed in boulder
Kara's OTs performance was quite good I thought. But a return to the track is just overambitious. If I were her, I would stick to the Chicago/NYC/Boston circuit and try to win money wherever I could.
Ritz on the other hand might make a comeback, but not likely. I am rooting for him though.
