I did a 6 by mile repeats this past Tuesday. I'm having a marathon on December 6th. I would like to hear your suggestion for a realistic pace for my race.
6 x 1 miles with 60 seconds rest.

I'm running 80 miles a week with the easy days ranging from 6:59-7:25 depending how I feel. I'm doing some faster long runs at 6:20-6:40.
I haven't been able to figure out a race strategy I had my last 20 miler this past Sunday. It was a 5 miles easy, 10 miles at marathon effort, 5 miles easy.
I ran this some parts in downhill and some others in uphill as I'm trying to simulate my race course. It felt pretty comfortable.
It took me 2:18.40 to finish the 20 miles any thoughts in a realistic pace for my marathon on December 6th?
Also I would appreciate advice in how to tapper. I'm at 80 miles week not sure how much should I drop down the mileage without affecting my level of fitness.
