I'm currently a sophomore in college. I typically run the 800 but I haven't PRed since senior year of high school. I'm not even close to my high school times in any event. I've been lifting and I do feel stronger but I can't seem to put together a solid race. I've been doing everything the coach asks of me and yet I'm still 10+ seconds slower than where I was in high school. In high school I trained myself and managed to make it work. If you were in my shoes what would you do? Should I stick with it and see what happens or should I go back to training myself?
