Not easy. I've spent two weeks there twice trying to get ready for a marathon. Definitely possible but not great.
Most people run along Alii Drive but I find it annoying.
I got up before sunrise to avoid the heat and traffic.
My favorite is the Old Mamahaloha Trail (it's a paved road). It's illegal but I only once got kicked out when I was later than 8am. Sneak past the gate off Makala Blvd.
For shorter runs you can use the old airport.
I once took the car to run on the gravel roads above Queen K which was nice.
Enjoy the warmth, it's a beautiful place. Make sure you swim in the ocean and also the local pool (it's free).
It's been fun, but there is just too much negative energy here and too many new a**holes who post bullshit and lots of great people who used to post all the time who have left or gone underground.
