My buddy's old man became a doctor after a decade as an Infantry officer. Worked out pretty well.
I switched career, country, and life direction at 37. Best decision of my life. I was single and had nothing to tie me down though.
I'm 34 and going back to school for engineering in 2 months. Figure I have 30+ years of working left might as well do something I'm interested in.
Took some planning and sacrifices to save but it will be well worth it. I have several friends that went back to school in their late 20s and early 30s that did it. I'm hoping it will be easier than the last time I was in school since ill actually want to be there this time. What field are you going into?
