No F'ing way. He's the Czar he can do whatever the f he wants.
Settle down, the guy hasn't started work yet. The announcement was last Friday, and his first official day is tomorrow, Wednesday. 5 days from announcement to first day on the job. That's not unreasonable. We don't know what other obligations he had to finish up at his previous position.
Given the job created is an emergency position he needed to be on the job last Friday.
Perhaps he was scheduled to golf with Obama and travel with him to fundraisers?
wow
you'd think so
Not really sure what exactly happenned here to inspire this post, but the answer is yes. As a csar without actual medical expertise, his role is effectively that of a Project Manager. Btw, nothing wrong with that. However, as a Project Manager yes he needs to be involved with meetings and should oversee multiple aspect of the effort. And as another poster mentioned, his role must start immediately. This is not a "give your last job 2 weeks notice" type appointment.
perhaps he didn't want the job to begin with
Probably best that he doesn't. Being a lawyer he'll just get in the way.
First it's Tsar, not Czar. It begins with "Ц" which sounds like "ts."
And why does the US government want every autocratic official to be a Russian? Why can't it just be the Ebola King? Or the Ebola Pope? Ebola Kaiser? Earl of Ebola? Emir of Ebola?
We seriously have a "Czar" for a cause of death that has killed one person in this country? By this precedent, we should probably also appoint a "window air conditioning unit falling from the sixth floor of a twelve story building Czar."
I understand when the public panics over things like Ebola. Many members of the public are epic morons who will panic over anything the television tells them to panic over. But is it too much to ask that the government refrain from jumping on board with this nonsensical overreaction?

Or the Iyatollah of Ebola.
