The school had gotten a new XC coach before summer started. We trained the whole summer. Around August, I contracted a major case of ITBS. Missed one week of training and went back running trough the pain. To this day I still feel pain and discomfort around the IT at the knee. My coach had talked to me and told me I should sit the season out. I was set to run a 16:30 5k, but if I dont run...well I wont run that time. Anyway, should I sit out this whole season?
