So last Tuesday I stubbed my pinky toe extremely hard while trying to reach the phone. That night I woke up to an intense pain in and around my toe. The next morning it was swollen to at least twice it's normal size. I went over to my dad, who is a physical therapist and he checked it out and he concluded it wasn't broken just jammed really bad. So I ran Wed, Thurs, but it really swelled up bad after that, so I took Fri. off and had a 5k race this morning. It hurt like crazy while running on it and it has swelled up so bad I can't see the bones or veins in my foot. Has anyone else had experience with anything like this? How did you deal with it? How long did it take to recover and have no pain again? I ran a 17:33 5k last week and 20:07 today, is that reasonable with my toe? Thanks for your help
