5th is a good place. Competition is steep. We'll see what happens in november.
Steep i would agree, but oregon above them? i disagree. Stanford is relying to much on just 3 power houses if any of those 3 have a bad race they are done for. CU is the only team that is going to be really hard to beat.

I would say OSU doesn't have a lot of breathing room for a bad day either. They have been successful at nationals in recent years but I would argue that this year's team is not as deep as before.

Great runners but as others have said it is a deep year. I bet one of the top 4 teams bombs and OSU slides in, but I don't think there is reason to feel the ranking is disrespectful. They don't hand out trophies for what you've done in past years.
