Can we talk?
Clearly she was getting MORE plastic surgery and it backfired in her face (or her throat). Not really surprising. Would anyone actually be sad if she died?

Not clear it was cosmetic. I haven't actually heard her talk in several years, but it's entirely possible that she had vocal cord issues and that the surgery was about addressing those.
Anyway, long, long ago in a universe far, far away Joan Rivers was actually funny - I remember really enjoying her as a guest host on the Tonight Show when I was a kid back in the 70s.
Unfortunately she went over to the dark side of being nasty and bigoted, perhaps at least in part as a result of her husband's suicide in 1987. At this point I have to admit I'd be relieved if she were gone, but perhaps if she survives this she'll get back to a better place as a person.
Gutted. My favorite actress of all time. Hope she pulls through. Sending prayers...
Her son Doc must be devastated
god? is that you?
She appeared in an episode of Louis CK's show. Sidesplittingly funny, in my view.

My thoughts exactly......
the place she got picked up from doesn't do plastic surgery:
Seeing as she was more plastic than person, they may have removed something important. Hope she turns out okay.
She remains amazingly funny even as someone of advanced age.
Just an ordinary girl from Larchmont.
