I always admired John Graham, Scotland, for his toughness, style of running, and the way he came so close to topping Clayton's 2:08.33 while winning Rotterdam 81, and suffering the side stitch nemesis.
Check how he punched the spectator who ran out with the dollar bill at halfway in NYC 81 (?), too, possibly helping Salazar's "record" efforts that day.
