Hey OP, you sound like a douche.
Cleveland is GREAT--go for it!
You POS.

Totally.
Nice job offer--Cleveland.
Bet you're glad you couldn't get into a top-flight program, eh Gradumasturbator?
Cleveland's fine, man. Despite the snow, it's actually a nice place to live with pleanty to do and places to run. I've never been mugged, robbed, or raped, so that's a plus.
I've spent extended time in NYC, LA, Charlotte, and Portland. None of those places are that much better than where I live in Cleveland.
Good luck!

We disagree.
Sounds to me that you and most of the posters on this thread aren't tough enough for C-town. You yuppy, spineless pieces of dung couldn't hack it here. My advice is to stay where you came from since we clearly don't need any more gutless haters here. We'll be just fine once the rest of the LeQuitters leave town.
Canada-what a joke. Our Salvation Army could kick your asses.
Didn't mean to start a fight. Sorry if I came off like a douche, SOB, etc...was not my intention. Just wanted to get some opinions about Cleveland before making my decision.
On that note, I'm glad to say I'll be making the move. Thanks to those that were helpful. I'm very excited about this.

You're right. I'm not tough enough to LOSE at everything, commit fraud, bribery, and theft on a regular basis, do coke, heroin, hash, meth, or murder a bunch of women. I'm also not tough enough to have a sewer run through downtown when the disgrace by the lake Gilbert reroutes that cesspool for more parking so he can take your welfare, unemployment and scrapper checks. Finally, I am definitely not tough enough to live in the only town in America compared to Detroit on a regular basis.
I congratulate you on your toughness. Hope you have a big boat you can jump on when that whole piece of garbage gets bulldozed into the lake where it belongs.
Thanks for making my point for me. This does all go on and the pansies cut and run. True Clevelanders take it on the chin and refuse to punk out to South Beach. We certainly don't need the approval of candy asses such as yourself.
Could you at least be tough enough to build more prisons up that way instead of filling up all our prisons in the rest of Ohio with all your felons?
Thanks
According to this page:
, Cleveland's population has decreased by 17.1% since 2000, exceeded by only Detroit and New Orleans.
Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Toledo are next on the list.
Everybody knows Cleveland is a crap-hole, really second only to Detroit, which is apocalyptic.
No wonder somebody in the USA offered a Canadian from a second-rate MBA program a job--no good American candidate would accept the offer.
I sort of agree with Douche Alert--you should go for it, you sound like a loser.
BTW, I and everybody I knew in my first-tier law school class got 99th-percentile on the LSAT. You couldn't even get in the doors with a mere 90th-percentile.
You smug, self-aggrandizing POS, like Douche Alert said, go for it--you deserve it.
Ouch!
B'ys (not a typo, see below)...sounds like you have a pipe up your ass. Thanks for putting me in my place. I mean where do I get off with explaining my situation to try to get helpful responses? I must be just another one of those prick Canadians.

Everyone I've met from Cleveland always answer this way:
"Cleveland is a great place to be from."
Hi--I know that I am writing this message quite some time after you posted your inquiry about Cleveland, but I just wanted to say that I hope that you have enjoyed the city, depsite the difficult weather. I live in Austin, Texas now and was previously living in North Carolina, but I grew up in Cleveland and I must admit, I miss it terribly. The different ethnic communities, the blue collar attitude, the genuine people, the underground music/art scene, our fantastic food scene...everything. Yes, you do need to be tough and a little street smart, but that is what makes Cleveland people interesting and real. Regarding women being overweight, in certain areas you will see it more, but all of my girl friends in CLE (we are in our 20s) are some of the most beautiful and in-shape girls I know, and I've been living in Charlotte and Austin (both of which have reputations for having attractive and active women). It is truly a great place to live and does not deserve the terrible reputation that is has. From what I have heard, there is even a two-year waiting list to live in an apartment downtown. This is amazing, and I am glad to hear that you decided to make the move even though so many haters were posting negative comments.
Hope you're having a great time and enjoying CLE :)
