Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but the vile and cruel remarks some of the posters spit are apparently without thought or maturity. No Caster Semenya isn't the most feminine female; however, there are thousand of such women throughout the world who have no control of how they came out during birth or their genetic makeup.
In my opinion Caster Semenya is the World Champion until the investigation is complete and (if) it can be found that she deliberately decieved the sporting world.
I think it's vile that they perpetuate the belief that makeup and fancy dresses make one look more feminine. It's an obvious marketing ploy for whatever makeup and clothing they've put her in, and it's belittling to her; she shouldn't have to justify her looks to anyone (but if there's money there she can do what she pleases).
It's as if they're saying, "Runners aren't feminine, but if you wear these clothes and look this way, you can look more feminine." I think this is complete bullshit. Female runners look just as feminine as anyone else, and dressing them up doesn't change it; I'm usually put off by women who wear too much makeup.
I have a gorgeous female friend who I can't run with without feeling awkward. She wears long clothing on warm days to attract less attention, but guys up and down the block will still watch us as we run past; it was creepy to see so many heads turning to follow us. She doesn't get nearly the same attention when we're just walking around.
Makeup and clothing don't make you look feminine.
