I am hoping I could get some advise on my injury. We just began the regular season, and during some barefoot strides i felt the bottom of my foot sort of tighten. The next night we had a 5k time trial and I noticed that on the outside rear of my foot (between my heal and arch) there was a bit of a dull pain. The time trial and immediately after left me with no pain. I ran a 13 mile run saturday with no pain, but then sunday through tuesday I noticed some fairly painful tenderness in the area. It goes away after some moving around but always comes back. Its very painful at night or in the early morning. Any ideas on what it is or how to treat it? My trainer thinks its a bone bruise, but i'd like to hear some personal accounts similar to this injury. Thanks.
