Ok, so I just started training seriously for an 3000 event and I'm asking you for advice as wrong training could get myself hurt or make me lose motivation.
Currently my PB is 12:00. How much should I run each week (still in HS)? How much time will it take for me to drop into the nine minutes? Should I only be doing endurance workouts?
I'll also be running a race that is 3x1000 with 70 seconds of rest between each 1000. Which pace should I run? 2000 pace or 1500 pace or less?
