wow! someone take him over to europe now!
Papua New Guinea threw everything they had at KR and it still wasn't enough!
I see Lashinda Demus is there too...
Paris GL on Friday night
apparantly he doesn't have to go to europe to run fast (something i've never really understoond why they do). i'd much rather sleep in my own bed and stay in a normal routine before trying to run a fast time instead of traveling around the world living out of a hotel/suitcase.
congrats to kd
KR should go to Eurpoe. It is fun to go over there and have hot, wild, anonymous, unprotected sex with Euro-sluts. Fun times.
Nice run
I spoke to him at a meet in early June, and he hadn't decided whether or not to go to Europe. He said that, now that he has a kid, family is a bigger priority for him. He's done the Europe thing (and enjoyed it) on many occasions previously, so it's not as much of a thrill and novelty as it is for the younger guys. That being said, if he's in 1:44 shape, he could be making some cash over there. Maybe now that he dropped that time, he'll head over there to get in a few races before Worlds.
Here was 49 low at the 400 and 1:16 at the 600... Ran by himself the entire way
terrible pacing - lack of endurance
maybe even more impressive is that he is turning 33 in just over a week! I thought after the olympic trials he was going to call it a career. Did you see how strong his response was to Symmonds at USA's? I've never even seen him kick like that before-he now can run from the front or the middle pack. Hes dangerous. I think he is once again USA's premier 800 runner and his experience may pay off at worlds.
How are you going to judge him running a 1:44? Have you ever even run an 800m race? It's almost impossible to run even or negative and he was alone. It was a great effort period, but all things considered it was pretty fantastic
Subtract BT and insert Jones
That's pretty legit! Geeez...that man went wire 2 wire running 1:44 in basically a time trial. For real, bring that man to Europe, I think he can run 1:43, maybe 1:42 high with some nice competitionand being fresh and well rested.
Isn't he on his own? If so that's sad. Somebody need to pay him all the expenses and take him to a real race.
Can he do it under pressure, in a pack with jostling, etc?
He was wearing Nike gear at USAs.
for real or an imposter...?

He's running in Paris on Friday.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
