Like I mentioned in the other thread regarding the explanation / confirmation of Webb being sick and an explanation (to some degree) f his poor performance (Not my opinion, but rather what the article seems to explain):
Webb being sick is confirmed in the article (see link) written by David Monti (Editor of Race Results Weekly). Monti had this confirmed by Webb's coach Scott Raczko. Apparently, 'Webb had food poisoning on Thursday night and he almost decided to skip the race'.

It's actually probably stomach flu. I had it last month, as did a lot of people.
