eh ???
is this a joke ???
you think 46.8r which is ~ 47.5 open for a 400 is a lie for a guy who intrinsically finished off a 3'26-high because of wide running with an intrinsic 52-mid !!!???
your denial is utterly laughable !!!
46.8R is nonsense for an elite 1500er
it is ~ 47.5 for open 400
do you think elite 1500 guys have some handicap where they don't have at worst 47.5 speed ???
have you learnt nothing from Korir with 46+ in Kenya last year & with weights has got down to 43.34R which is ~ 44-flat !!! for Open 400, beacuse of simply weight-training on incredible natural base as Aouita had ???
the suggestion they don't have at worst 47+ is utter nonsense & shows no comprehension of ability & therefore 0 clue about the sport
do you believe every 1500 runner in history was anaerobic cripple & coud never break 46.78 ???
utter joke !!!
so you think, Aouita was not capable of ~ 46.8R ???
is this a joke ???
Korir runs 43.34R !!!
Africans run superfast 400s once given some weights as Korir stated as key to busting down from 46+ to 44-flat ability in 1y !!!
can't you comprehend how huge the talent is in 3rd world running great times off primitive training ???
is this a joke ???
it must be a joke !!!
no one ever claimed Aouita ran 45.5R
so what is your problem with 46.8R ???
any elite 800 or 1500 guy who clocks faster than 46.78 is commendable in my book
impress me, how many sub-1'44 now are there with actual sub-46.78s ???
it is so laughable to believe 46.78 is some magic number for elite 800 or 1500 guys
utter joke !!!
it is a total joke to hope that any elite 800 never breaks 46.78 ???!!!
Aouita in france in '85 epic v Cram was in to just nearest 0.25s for 400/800 which can be long way out unless down to 0.1s splits
~ 47.75
1'43.25
2'12.18 !!
3'26.77 !!!
7'22.61 !!
12'53.37 !
he was lot quicker for 400/800 in '88 despite age/injury when concentrating on 1500/800
get a clue
if you didn't watch the races with hugely experienced/top analytical mind in '80s, then don't waste time our time now
