It's On Again: Emmanuel Bor and Paul Chelimo Will Go For The American Indoor 5000 Record on Thursday at 6 pm ET (23:00 CET)
Galen Rupp's 13:01.26 indoor record barely survived a record assault two weeks ago. Rather than run an indoor 10,000, Scott Simmons' runners are going to take another crack at Rupp's record on Thursday. This time, they are going for a negative split and hoping a race for glory over the final 1k gets the job done.
