USATF Day 2: Cade Flatt's Dream Comes to an End, Favorites Cruise
The HSer came up just short of the final after running 1:47.00 as the heavy hitters in the men's and women's 800s as well as women's steeplechase all looked good save for Isaiah Jewett who was eliminated.

Cade Flatt Says He's The Greatest US HS 800 Runner Ever and He'll Try To Prove it Friday Night in Philly
Kentucky's Cade Flatt is the second fastest 800m high schooler ever. Flatt, who is known to wear an MMA type jacket with “FLATT” on the back before races, says that will change Friday night when he races at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Philly. Then next week, he's stepping up to take on the pros at USA nationals next weekend.
