If you don’t experience the dreaded heel slippage that seems to plague many, this shoe is an ideal easy day workhorse. I use the Nike Spark wool sock, which is a thicker sock, and don’t experience any heel slippage issues. With about 150 miles on them so far, I definitely prefer them over the Pegasus 39 for the majority of my miles because of their superior cushioning and rebound. For any sort of speed work, look elsewhere. This shoe is a niche performer but excels at that niche.
The Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 3 is a remarkable running shoe. With a durability that withstands my 50 miles per week and a sleek design, these shoes are exceptional. The React cushioning provides unmatched comfort, reducing fatigue and muscle soreness. Whether on pavement or trails, these shoes enhance the running experience. Highly recommended for serious runners. I've gone through over 12 pairs of these and just keep buying them. I've tried switching to Hoka or Puma and they just don't compare.
Amazing overall shoe - as a fast (?) high school runner, they were amazing for daily training and handled faster days too. very comfortable. Felt like a hug around my foot.
I’ve worn these for over 500 miles and they feel responsive and surprisingly the cushion has held up well. When I first broke them in the middle part hurt my arch and this discomfort would linger every now and then but overall it has withstood hundreds of miles. It’s okay on grass, well on dirt but works best on road or asphalt. I got them on sale (60 bucks) so it was very worth the price. I wouldn’t buy them for anything over 120 but if possible I’d recommend these as bricks for recovery runs or long runs. They can be used for tempo or threshold miles but I wouldn’t recommend for faster pace workouts
I've gone through several of these shoes (probably 12). They are tried and true for my hilly terrain. They start to feel flat around 300-350 miles (6'1 155lbs). I've never gotten injured in them and I seem to recover just fine from casual running with occasional workouts.
The Reacts are my favorite running shoe and not just the version 3. The first and second version were just as good too. Very comfortable and cushioned, but not so cushioned that putting spikes is a huge contrast. I found that to be the case with the Nike Invincibles. I pray that Nike doesn’t dramatically change this shoe when they release the 4th version.
Love this shoe. Very good cushion, not too much but just enough. Fits the foot really well. Good for the lower legs :)
The previous version felt more bouncy, but the cushioning feels just as good on this latest version. The upper is more refined and feels less bulky and more breathable, meaning I can run in warmer temperatures now without opting for another shoe. An ideal shoe for heavier runners who aren’t running more than half marathon distances.
I like the infinity run because it helps with my pronation. It isn’t too soft but also not too hard. I can bang a quick long run if I need but it is a daily trainer for sure.
I have been running in this line of shoe since March of 2020 on and off depending on what my bank account looked like when I needed a new pair of shoes. They have continued to improve with each generation and they hold up well for about 500 miles.
