These are good fast trainers.    They work for long runs too.    Heavier and not as much energy return as super shoes, but they have a plate and some pebax foam.   React foam under heal for longevity.   I love these shoes.    I have contemplated using them in a marathon, but compared to VF or AF, they are heavier and have less pebax foam.

Pros: Fast, springy shoe providing excellent forward propulsion. Workable at all paces from easy to race pace; performs exceptionally well in and around the tempo pace range, where the firm lockdown and forefoot cushion combine to make you feel like you could run forever. Aesthetic and well-designed too.

Cons: Extremely tight around the midfoot; stock lacing pattern can easily cause the wearer considerable pain. Those with wider feet especially may need to change the lacing pattern. Traction is subpar; not recommended to run on wet or slippery surfaces in these.

Overall: A useful and affordable addition to any shoe lineup. Highly recommended.

As much as I want to say "except for short track intervals," the fact is this shoe keeps works great for short stuff as well as long tempo runs. Great energy return. Great cushioning = great recovery. I've lost count, but I'm on my 4th or 5th pair. The only drawback is the price, so it's best to find a deal somewhere.

Probably not for everyone, the first run out they felt bizarrely unstable, but ended up being my go-to mile eaters.  Lasted about 800 miles, wish they lasted longer.  I needed about 1/2 size bigger vs other Nikes.

    • Good trainer but not very durable. 100 miles on them and both soles have new cracks.

Doens't perform as well for short distance workouts or higher speed work but still does a good job. This shoe performs best for races 2 miles or above, it does have some traction problems when its wet

These shoes give a very smooth run, and the colorway is great. My only criticism is that they have an off-the-ground feel, which feels somewhat unnatural.

Great shoe from easy to fast miles, I can do all of my training in them so the pricetag is understnadable, no complaints about the shoe at all, even wore a single pair for over 1000 miles.

Great show for the roads and track workouts. I also use it for smoother trails.  The only issue is that they tend to make a squeaking noise.

I am a novice runner, but I really have enjoyed this shoe once I started using them about a year ago. Great cushion and makes me feel like I'm leaning forward when running.  With other shoes, sometimes my legs have this feeling like 'I just don't have it today'. I never get that feeling with these shoes.

They are pricey. There is no way around  it, but if you can find a sale, I would jump on these.

    • Very good but not a good shot to kick around in after it’s retired.

Very good but not a good shot to kick around in after it’s retired. The Zoom Air Pod makes it look awkward. The ZoomX foam makes it lively. Fly knit upper is a plus.
