Note: This is an UNOFFICIAL LIST. Humans do make mistakes.

A couple notes:

  • The national rankings coming in ended up being incredibly good. If you look at the top 31 ranked teams (the 30 ranked teams and then the 31st team with the most votes(Oregon St)), 30 of them made NCAAs. The lone ranked casualty was #28 Furman who was the first team out and they were replaced by Texas. And we knew an unranked team had to come out of the South Central before the day even began.
  • The BYU women came into the day ranked 6th nationally but only finished 6th at the Mountain Regional. They still had enough points to qualify for NCAAs, though.
  • Cal Baptist (CBU) spent the last five years transitioning from Division II to Division I, during which time they were ineligible to compete at NCAAs. This was their first year as a full-blown Division I school and now they’re going to their first NCAA Division I Cross Country Championship.
  • Northwestern qualified for NCAAs for the first time since 2002.
  • Utah Valley qualified for NCAAs for the first time ever.
