The battle of the 19 year-olds is here: Jakob Ingebrigtsen v Jacob Kiplimo over 3000m at Thursday’s Rome Diamond League meet and we give our predictions. The US is not sending a team to the World Half Marathon championships, but there is hope for Foot Locker XC in 2020 and there is going to be an unofficial DII NCAA XC nationals. Minnesota has but it’s track and field program and University of Houston coach Leroy Burrell sends out a warning.

Is Emma Coburn the gold medal favorite in the women’s steeplechase? Can Jakob Ingebrigtsen or Potato Tim (Cheruiyot) run 3:25? Is Kenenisa Bekele chunky or ready of the London Marathon? What about Matthew Centrowitz’s Olympic chances in 1500?
