I don’t think you understand lifting and muscle growth etc.
He made the swap to mostly bodyweight training after his most recent marathon. It's also not going to make much of a difference. If he's still training those muscles hard (a lot of pushups/pullups), they're not gonna shrink much if at all. It's a matter of diet, which is a big component of his problem - he does this to promote his brand, so he can't exactly cut out the massive amount of protein powder he eats daily...it would be a bad look to have to stop using your own products to achieve your goals.
He's 6'/194lb right now. If he gets to 185 and stays healthy I give him a shot at sub-3hr in one of his next 1-3 marathons.
