Okay...if you're advocating for long-term "Shelter in Place"/social distancing policy, the government then needs to pay everybody that is laid off their full wages and contributions that they were making to 401ks, insurance plans, etc.,if applicable. Small business owners need to be fully compensated for what their profit margins would yield with customers (one restaurant owner I know in NY that was shutdown said he has over 100 tables and he's at full capacity on weekends).

I think there's a lot right in that article.
Things will be really bad.
And if we just go ahead and open everything back up, things will be really bad.
A lot of people want to see the deaths and sickness pile up before doing something.
Like the levees in New Orleans where people pleaded to be fixed before Katrina hit.
It was too expensive.
Look how expensive it was to not fix them in advance.
