it is gonna pass the highest recent flu season on record, by your estimation, despite severe and draconian measures to contain it.
Yeah, ummm, NO!
You and the other DENIERS want to say that the death toll is low because of measures that were put in place too late to have any effect, were not followed by the majority of the public to have any effect, even if they did work (which they don't) and were not in effect long enough before the goalpost move to have any effect (again, if they worked, which they do not).
As it's been stated, even by your buddies that disagree with me, you CANNOT change the actual mortality rate of the virus with social distancing. Virtually everyone is now in agreement that the mortality rate is below .67% and anything lower than .67% would mean that more people would have had to be infected than there are people in the entire United States to reach a 2.2 million death toll. Yet, people STILL keep repeating that we would have had millions of deaths were it not for the social distancing. Impossible!
I may be wrong that it won't kill more than the 2017/2018 flu and I'm not dodging or ducking anything. I was absolutely right about everything else, including the main issue that you want to ignore: It's not that deadly, Calm The F**K Down! I know you hate that and you are going to try and spin that too, but those are still the facts. Three months ago I was crazy and I would be off by millions, 2 months ago I was delusional and would be off by a few hundred thousand, last month I was an idiot and would be off by tens of thousands. Now everyone has been sitting around for the last 2 weeks waiting for the 61,001 number so they can celebrate the moment when I am off by 1. You expect me to stand up and say what I was wrong about but you are a coward and won't admit to what I was right about. You and all your buddies are the true goalpost movers and you hate that everyone else gets it. People understand are listening and that's a good thing, because remember, #FactsMatter
