ok so I buy a bike to help myself xtrain...
It's a 2005 trek 1000 supposdly was brand new, get it home, rides fine....then i take off one of the promo stickers and there is a big f'ing chip in the paint under it, so i look at the book that came with it and on it is written chipped paint and defective front derailer( now that i see this it does stick shifting with the front crank from the middle gear to the little gear), which pisses me off since the shop said nothing of when i bought the bike...They were eager to give me a $25 discount but i thought it was cas they were making room for the 06 models which come in in about a week...I've rode the bike about 20-25 miles easy
So what should I do about this, I'm gonna take it back and make them give me a new derailer or fix the one on it...but I guess I might have to suck it up about the paint its only about 4-6 square cm but is very noticeable, I guess I might have to buy a sticker...would it be unreasonable to ask for some money back?
