Would you mind posting the shoes/prototypes that Ward , Hall, or Desi have worn over their last few races?

But seeing this, I conclude that Kipchoge always had the new prototype before everyone else and he probably owes to the shoes technology a large part of his success.

That explain how a top track athlete, but not a greatest one, has morphed into the greatest marathon runner. He was technologically helped and engineered by Nike.

We will see how he do on a level playing field.

You got it wrong. The Vaporfly Elite was a precursor to the Next%, not a Next% prototype. They were sold at some exclusive outlets for around 600 or 650 bucks and you can find them overpriced on Ebay. The Alphafly is an abomination straight from hell. Anything done to the Alphafly to make it "legal" is simply not the real deal Alphafly. May as well change the name of the original Alphafly to Aplha-Omega (the first and the last of its kind)

Can you post high quality photos of the 2015-2016 prototypes? I can find plenty of 240p footage of the races but nothing HQ enough to really call it.

So the flapping shoe was a next 4% prototype? Is the sole much figure? It's funny as on the podcast with Shalaya Kipp (link at bottom) Jon Gault was citing that race as proof of Kipchoge's greatness and I thin it points to it but it makes sense that a prototype would have a flapping insole more than a traditional shoe.

And also on the podcat I knew they were wrong in saying Kipchoge was normally wearing normal shose as he's usually one version ahead of everyone else.

What is your source? The 2015 Berlin shoe at least looks exactly like a Streak. Same upper, same outsole, and the midsole is the same thickness and shape as a Streak. I suppose there could be some minor changes of happening inside the midsole, but it's not thick enough to hide a carbon plate or anything major. It's basically a Streak, not some early Vaporfly prototype.

The shoe with the insoles falling out was indeed a prototype, just a prototype of the Streak 6. I remember hearing the glue wasn't strong enough for the insoles bc they didn't account for how much pressure Kipchoge would generate on them. Maybe just a silly rumor from the time, but def not any 4% proto.
