What I do worry about is the next big virus 10-50 years from now...
All the characteristics of a global killer are now in existence and in the same family of virus. They just need to recombine in a nasty combo..
Epic virus would be..
1. Corona ability to last on surface for 28 days. Survive spring/ summer.
2. Corona ability to transmit without revealing symptoms for 14 days.
3. Ebola lethality of 50%.
4. Sars ability to destroy respiratory system.
If this were to get loose, gg.
2. Corona(Covid-19) is contagious almost immediately upon infection, without symptoms, for at least 27 days now, up from 24 days. 14 days was working assumption from early in outbreak.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-02-22/27-day-incubation-period-coronavirus-china-covid-19/119916043. Covid-19 real lethality may exceed Ebola. China would certainly never admit to it, and even South Korea, Iran, Italy, USA, any government, would all choose to lie and deny just to keep society from crashing down even faster.
4. Covid-19 can attack many internal organs, it is just a matter of which gives out first, sometimes it is the heart, and boom, you drop dead in the middle of the street, sometimes before you even know you are sick.
