Haven't posted in a while because I was injured... Patellar tendonitis. Seems to be ok now but still monitoring it.
Officially signed up for a Marathon on November 8th. It's a real race so that's cool but we are about 7 weeks out and I don't know if that will be enough time to be in peak shape. Maybe some more experienced guys can comment on that.

August 24-30: 32.5 miles and 146 miles biking
August 31- September 6: 65.6 miles and 106 miles biking
September 7-13: 89 miles, 1 workout and a long run

The workout I did was 4x1,000m @ 3:00, 2 mile jog, 2 mile tempo in 10:40. I did a workout similar a few weeks back and this one definitely went a lot better. I decided to do a shorter faster workout because I have a 5 mile race coming up this Saturday.
I am feeling pretty good after the long run. I didn’t really want to stop running, I felt like I could have just kept running at sub 6:00 pace. If I can stay healthy these next couple weeks I think I’ll be in a good position.
