Just came off my last XC race and don’t know where to go with the indoor season.
I finished off last outdoor season with PRs of 56.2 in the 400 (run once), 2:03.72 in the 800 (run 4 times), and 4:57 in the mile (run once).
I have PRs of 17:13 in the 3-mile and 17:34 in the 5K after missing most of the season with a hip injury and found out that I’m basically not allowed to hit above 35 miles a week until I’m a fully grown adult (18-22 ish)
With that being said what are some really key or good 800m workouts I could do in order to break the 2:00 barrier. I feel like my leg speeds holding me back and I’ve transitioned into more of a 800/1600 kind of guy but I really want to break 2:00.
