Please, with all the whining about Wet. These posts come up once a month by someone who is bitter about not making the team, or the success of CU distance runners - and make no mistake it is a successful program. Name one All-American at CU in distance b4 Wetmore got there. Now name the 42+ All-American awards handed out since he has been there(obviously several to the same athlete in some instances). By the way, if your not from the tri-state area, especially if your from Boston, you probably hate the Yankees. And if you were not from Iowa and did not wrestle there, you would probably hate Dan Gables(one of the best US wrestlers ever, and best coaches ever - just ask Wetmore he will tell you) Gables pushed his grapplers to the limit physically, mentally and emotionally, many say too hard, and whined that he pushed kids over the edge, but his record speaks for itself, and an incredible number of kids made all-american while at Iowa.
And, there were in fact a couple of All-Americans at Cu before Wetmore, Mark Scrutton, back in the late 70's was a stud and Mike Nahom, was a walk-on to all-american in late 80's. Finally, to the fags that have a problem with Wet's training, give some specifics, which part don't you like, besides the rumor that he rides a bike along side the guys on easy days whith a whip, pushing them too hard - wah, wah!?!
