It was a strategic decision to keep her out of regionals. What source do you have that says she is not running tomorrow?
Fiona is in.
JJ Clark
She was kept out due to back soreness which she has had scans and an x-ray on . I wouldn't call that a "strategic decision".

Holding your best runner out of regionals to rest because you don't need her to qualify is strategic.
So is she running at nationals or not?
Its a race time decision. She has missed two weeks of training and looked bad jogging the course.
JJ Clark said at the press conference on Friday that she was held out of regionals because of a back issue and that she would be a race-day decision in Terre Haute
Looks like Stanford would have been in title contention had she not had the back issue.
? Is this the same Fiona O'Keefe who finished 27th?
Yes, one and the same.
Even if Fiona finishes a few seconds ahead of Ella Donaghu as she did when she won Pac-12s and Regionals, Stanford still finishes 3rd behind AR & BYU.
Indeed, BYU & Stanford ran so well that they each could have won several past NCAA meets since NCAAs went to the expanded field format in 1998.
