Troy Aikman said Mason Rudolph's hand got caught in helmet. Rudolph should have gotten ejected. Rudolph was the one who started it. WTF is wrong with Aikman?

By touching the dude's helmet while getting tackled?
Either you're 1/2 blind or your eyes are attached to a damaged brain. Mason Rudolph attempted to rip the helmet off the head of Myles Garrett. Garrett retaliated.
If you watch the tape in slow mo, the steelers qb got hit in the head with the spongy part on the bottom of the helmet. He would have been in concussion protocol if he got hit with the top of the helmet.
Lesson? Never start a fight you can't finish!!!

Unless he did this without touching Garrett's helmet, I don't really see how your claim in contradictory to my post.
Garrett just lost himself a million dollars or more in the game checks he’s going to miss. Poor decision on his part. Reminds me of Happy Gilmore’s tale of taking his skate off and using it as a weapon.

The proper reply to your question is he "touched the dude's helmet" AFTER he was tackled.

He was dumber than the 53 guy punching him in the helmet!!!!

Which is a bigger blow: getting hit in the head and apparently being uninjured, or getting suspended and being labeled as a dirty player. I'd say that Rudolph not only finished the fight, but won hands down. He walks away from this way less injured when financial and reputation impacts are taken into account.

You obviously are incapable of thinking in three dimensions. The main impact is from the hard plastic near the left ear hole.
Just because the quarterback is amped up on adrenaline does not mean he did not sustain a significant blow. Take a look at this video of Kermit Washington punching Rudy Tomjanovich.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgqUZ1IAA_8This effectively ended Tomjanovich's career as he had a cerebral spinal fluid leak and a deformed face from the blow. Certain things have no place in organized sports. Swinging a helmet at another person's head is one of those things.
Can’t even believe what I just saw in that game!! Nuts.

This. Rudolph gets several last laughs in this situation, which is crazy after a terrible game and picking a fight. He absolutely got the best of Garrett.
Rudolph was clearly up to something and while Garret acted like an idiot Rudolph was super scared he was going to get the beats. He knows he was trying to rip off Garrets helment and then he got beat down.
so like felony assault?
Looks like a case of assault with a deadly weapon. Striking a player in the head with a helmut, isn't just a football infraction.
It should have legal consequences.

Concussion protocol would have been best case scenario. A hit with the other side of the helmet could have killed him!
Best video ever. The moment the fight gets real, the kid throws his arms up like "ah, come on.." Rudolph is the one that should be expelled all season. He was attacking with a death face, thinking his lineman would protect him and the moment he got hit he freaked out looking for daddy to protect him. Love it.
Typical fake tough guy steelers got called on their crap. Too bad for Myles that he took the bait but glad that steelers got exposed for being turds (Pouncey/Rudolph). Another Browns season in the drain, just as 5 - 1 or 6 -0 in the division was looking very realistic.
