I’m sure this was talked about already.
Basically which states have the fastest and most depth?
For high school cc big schools.
Top 10 best?
Bottom 10 worst?
I know nothing so I’m going to sit back and read what people say.

If a state has fast XC courses, it's not real XC.

Add Maryland to the 10 worst.
Pennsylvania has good ones for sure.
Don't forget about all the states everyone forgets about, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Alaska, etc. If you have a low, rural population you are going to suck at XC because it is a white & suburban dominated sport.
Michigan has had roughly four kids break 15 this year
There are states that have no boys teams that ever made it to NXN. Such as South Carolina, Delaware, and West Virginia. Not sure if any girls teams made it from those states.
I also don’t know why Florida is in that list. They have a girls and boys team that made it to NXN last year, and one of them finished in the top 10 there. This year there is a girls team that will make it, and a boys team that will compete for a spot there.
Southeast is historically bad. But good to see Georgia representing well this year. Couple of top 25 guys and the winner by blowout at great American. There are 3 or 4 guys in Ga that are national caliber. Maybe these guys will grow the sport there.

New York should be in that list too. They don’t have the fastest times, maybe because they always run on the hardest courses, but they always have a lot of nationally Ranked Teams, and FM is always one of them
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
