Who could see some training of Brigid expected a time around 2:14. At the end of August I saw a training of 10 times 1000m in Tambach (dirt track at 2000m of altitude) with 200m recovery in 1'15", where the slowest was 2'56" and the fastest (the last) 2'49". I was very surprised to see Brigid in a training like this, because I had the idea she was a type of athlete "resistant" but not fast : when I saw that training, I started to think that her current limits could be 29'20" in 10 km, under 64' in HM and 2:14' in full Marathon.
I think at the moment there is no room for any other athlete in the World for beating her, since the second specialist seems very far from her level, and this not only under technical and physiological point of view, but also looking at her aggressive mentality (she Always showed to run attacking fast paces also when not still able to finish the full Marathon at that speed, and never dropped out once) and at her threshold of pain, in my opinion similar to the one of Joyciline Jepkosgei only.
