What were you blocked for? We were blocked as well.
Who knows why...I have like 5 twitter followers so maybe they were intimidated by me

Any proof that an appeal has actually been filed?
My bet is that Nike and Alberto will continue to say that the appeals are ongoing, until we stop talking about it all, at which time Alberto is retired (but still getting paid by Nike) and then we will find out that appeals were squashed years ago
I'd hereby like to be the first to put in for this.
Meet me in the same spot for practice on Monday. I will have your new T-Shirts.
Rebrand and repackage the same crap.

I doubt it. They're probably wishing they never let things get so bad between Adam and Salazar that they got removed from the project (even though Kara was begging in emails to be taken back), and then tried to take revenge by making drug accusations; thinking they could walk away as untainted and even heroes, and that hasn't been the case, since plently is in the public domain that they were on thyroid meds, before NOP.

When Nike FIRES someone or bans them, then I will take this seriously.

Ironically this forum and all the crap talking, allegations and haters likely contributed to the downfall of NOP.
This forum is either the biggest fans of the sport or ex athletes who never came close to the success of some of the NOP guys and would do anything to see them all banned just out of shear jealousy, it’s truly sad. Rather than supporting our top end athletes Americans rather choose to hate them. Today is a sad day for distance running.
I agree with everything you said, only in reverse..
A bloody great day for distance running, cheats got caught.

I agree that this is a sad end result for NOP. They should have stayed and tried to revamp and come back stronger after the turmoil. Perhaps Alberto wins his appeal. Instead they choose to completely fold. This does not say anything about the athletes, but the weak minds running the show. But since they're completely gone now, NOP will live on like an urban legend that's actually a true story. It's a joke that fraudsters such as Jama Aden and Renato Canova can do whatever they want, yet someone who tries to stay within the rules goes down. This sport is a joke.
Rosa’s stable still has Nike support along with exclusive gear. He’s clearly better about compartmentalizing his operation and minimizing exposure than Salazar.
Interesting read between the lines: They don't claim Alberto is innocent, only that he acted in good faith. And they don't say that the suspension is wrong altogether, only that a four-year suspension is wrong.
Looks as if their lawyers don't see a chance to win the trial and will instead plead forextenuating circumstances.

Years after (allegedly) being given a pill for a non-restricted drug, Kara Goucher's long struggle seems concluded.
Salazar has a 4-year ban (though she wants it to be lifetime).
Her other fervent wish, that the NOP which once nurtured her be shut down, has finally come true.
While a few pampered athletes may lose resources, and while Nike and NOP staff who supported them may lose jobs, what really matters is justice.
This is a great day for American Running.
The Gouchers will be popping a second bottle of Champagne tonight!
Does this mean the Gouchers can disappear,no more crying ,no more chest thumping. Maybe the biggest win of this whole thing.
This is well-founded, just one objection: They are bullish on the brand, not on the CEO, and there are Parker's mails which have become publicly known. Investors might tell Nike that people who are publicly suspected to be involved into wrongdoing aren't good for the business.
Not the first Alberto Salazar-affiliated Nike team to be shut down. In the '80s Athletics West, the team Salazar ran for as a professional, was shuttered after one of their athletes was found dead in the team hq bathroom. Within weeks, AW shuttered its doors. PEDs were also a commonality with NOP. Athletics West was known to have peds available for their athletes if they wanted to experiment.
True. I’m happy they are shutting down, NOP was dirty as hell

NOP is gone but, the athletes will continue to be paid by Nike. It will be a quiet winter and a new re-branded club will emerge by spring 2020. The roster will be essentially the same with a few more international athletes (to spread goodwill), a couple of respected assistant coaches, and an "Sports Ethics and Compliance" officer added to the mix. Pete Julian will head the new squad. "We will be committed to clean sport and the highest ethical yada, yada...while committing to full transparency yada, yada..."
this is exactly what will happen. They probably will get a new name sponsor like NN team has. Something like Qatar Airways...

He'll have a lot of competition from all the recently arrived Italian coaches there.
