announcers are freaking out that Mo farah is getting dropped. He's just chilling. In a track race you always see him in the back of the pack early in the race. He will be fine.

So, 44:10 at 15 km and estimated time is 2:04:15

Mo is already 5-6 seconds back on the lead pack of 5, not looking good for him.
Any chance he’s being a good friend and dropping back to chill with Rupp? ?
Seems like Mo might be falling for Bekele syndrome where we have a very talented track runner who can't quite live the lifestyle required to master the marathon. Maybe he needs to move to Denmark and get some of Jos' special sauce.

Anke Esser (GER) currently on 02:26:35 pace, which would put her #8 on Germany's all-time list. Last year she permanently moved to Iten to focus on her running carrer.
I'm German and have never heard that name before. That time is faster than what the Hahner twins or Anja Scherl are running, who are extremely established German marathoners. You would expect that time from someone like Reh or Koko, but from a no-name? Suspicious.
If you had read the women's preview, you'd know it's her marathon debut.

This American coverage is awful.
Showing barely anything of the races, virtually nothing of the women’s which is on WR pace
That's par for the course, unfortunately.
Hasay must have dropped out right?
One would think....or she slowed down more from 5K to 10K.
Kosgei 47:26 and est. time 2:13, if somebody doesn't see :D
Galen seems to be catching up to Mo

Didn't see her mentioned in the Letsrun preview. She ran 2:43:14 in Berlin '17, placing #21.
Kosgei at 15K on 2:13 pace!! Looks great but damn, too fast.
Galen, Mo, and one other guy in the chase pack together. Pretty far back though.
Galen on 2:05:06 pace only 6 seconds behind Mo and Bashir, might be best to hang on them even if he blows up a little. Galen can at least hang with Bashir and run a good time.

She ran 2:43 in Berlin 2017. Then went for 2:35 in Berlin 2018, went out in 1:16 and died, finishing in 2:48 AND needed to be taken to the hospital because of severe damage to her body.
Then spends a few months in Kenya, and suddenly starts threatening 2:25 now in Chicago? This progression is not anything less suspicious than Wanders, a few months of altitude, good food and a training group simply don't cause progressions on this magnitude. We really gotta be careful with any performances that come from Kenya, even if they are White people who go there to experience the great Kenyan boost.
Lisa Weightman (4x years old) on 02:22:08 pace, ahead of the Australian record pace.
Galen and Mo look like they're working together. Still pretty good pace.
Where is Hasay?!??
Any boots on the ground with an update??
Looks like Jordan was lying to journalists about being ready to race Chicago...
But don't worry guys, she's totally telling the truth a out not doping at NOP.
Woman announcer in vehicle right in front of lead-pack men: "We're almost at the half-way point." (Actually they were only at the 1/3rd point. Yikes.
The start list of elite women LetsRun provided, had the German down as "Debut" for her best marathon time
