Supposed to be a skinny man's race. He has the physique of a middle-weight boxer or maybe even some of the leaner college running backs.

EPO
Doesn't look much different than Peter Snell. He's only around 5'9 and 15x pounds. So he's not that big. I think it has more to do with camera angles and the tights.
i'd say his upper body physique looks more like an undersized receiver or corner than any runningback i've seen

Definitely on the money although I think Mahkloufi has more muscle definition than Snell did.
What is he doing in the picture? Looks like he’s going in for a bro-hug to an invisible man.
Or race walking.
Or doing the robot.
If he were standing next to an actual RB you would not be saying this, although I understand what you are saying.
Most running backs his height are pushing 200 pounds. He’s 150
Even a receiver like deSean Jackson , who seems skinny in the nfl, clocks in at 185 and 5-10
hes on a mix of steroids, and EPO,possibly human growth hormones,as well.
ALL PROUD LION HAVE JAСKED MUSCLE!!! YOU EVER HEAR OF SKINNY LION??? MAKHLOUFI IS FIERCE BEAST OF PREY AND EASILY DESTROYS WEAK RUNNERS WITH SCARED HEARTS!!!
If Peter Snell were in his twenties today, he'd have a bit lower percentage of body fat that he had during his era. Snell, app. 5'10" 170lbs. He'd be about 165lbs. today racing 1:41.75 to 1:42.25 800m.
drugs aside, he's pretty thin compared to what we'd consider to be a truly "jacked" weight lifter (even excluding professional body builders here). I think if you put mahk next to a 230 pound college kid who can bench 350, mahk daddy would look quite small.
Regardless, I think it's well known that you can get by the 1500 with more body mass secondary to muscular bulk, however he's not going under 13:30 ever in his career.
poor little scumdinavians

He does look "big" for a middle distance runner, but it's all perspective. He is probably the weight of a junior middleweight boxer but is built in reverse of a boxer with big legs and a leaner upper body. Most lower weight boxers have stick like legs and big upper bodies.
Also he is as dirty as f&*k.
