Sadly this situation reflects the state of Athletics vs. PED's over the past 40+ years. Frequency of testing is no guarantee of drug free performance since the cheaters have found ways to skirt the testers. Unfortunately, drug free athletes are often lumped with the cheaters despite of their honest performances. Adamant denial is met with raised eyebrows, cheater or not.
I have no idea which side of the argument Christian Coleman is on. If he is clean, it is unfortunate he triggered this inquiry which will now haunt his every performance by cynical fans and press. As a father, I can only imagine the anger and frustration of having to defend your son's reputation in such matters. Since the issue has been resolved and CC will compete in Doha, my advice would be to ignore the backlash as much as possible. The phrase, " Me thinks he doth protest too much" seems appropriate.
