Tell your sob story to the biological female that June bumps from Nationals or All-American status.
Good answer. Claiming it’s “hate” to think biological males have no place in women’s sports is such a pathetic and weak ploy. It’s the same ploy as calling someone “racist” if they disagree with you.
Give us a compelling reason. Until then, get off your high moral horse because your arguments are garbage.
You’re right. It’s not hate to disagree. I am torn on the entire issue. What is hateful or hurtful is the way that people express their disapproval. You can disagree all you want there’s nothing wrong with that.
What we are talking about is the dialogue. They way a media outlet would portray her.
Continuing to remind everyone that “June, born a male,...yadda yadda yadda.” Its a passive-aggressive way of reporting that attempts to push a negative narrative. You see the same thing in reporting about other issues where, for instance, a person’s race is not a part of the story. “”Darius, the third black man to be arrested for the crime this week...”.
Claiming that anyone that disagrees with your disagreement is unreasonable is no different than claiming all people who disagree are bigots. What this topic is about is the manner in which Letsrun, if it wants to be a true media outlet, talks about June. That’s all.
Like I said, other mainstream media, when talking about trans people, either only refer to them by their identifying gender or, if it calls for it, that they are transgendered. They don’t go the extra mile to identify them with any other further explanation because it isn’t needed and would be considered poor form.
That’s the actual thing that’s being discussed. Not wether or not she should be allowed to compete. Just how it is reported in the media.

ps: it’s not a “sob story”. It’s real people and real lives lost. Don’t be a dick. If you said that to my face there would be a huge problem. Take your tough-guy remarks to someone else. I’m the wrong car for that.
