Well done! Since you posted, they’ve lost 4 of 5.

Astros. if not then they choked hard. they did lose to Boston last year with a similar team though. red Sox probably won tmake playoffs due to bad pitching this year. Dodgers, yes they will choke. they could be favs if not for their rough recent history in playoffs. Yankees starters are not good enough and their hitters are overachieving anyways. will be cooled off in the playoffs. Astros over Cubs in world series is my prediction. Braves and Dodgers each choke in NL.

They pummelled the lowly yankees this weekend though the yankees got lucky and squeeked out a couple one run wins.
Dodgers missed their chance when decided they would rather hold onto a bunch of prospects instead of getting the best closer, and left handed, Felipe. What a dumb decision. 250mill dollar payroll and now they're worried about prospects. Hell they don't have any openings anyway.
The yanks do not have the pitcher. Come on now.
Houston is the only team you named with a chance and they went out and got better at the deadline.
Astros
Yeah. And they’ve played like one team over .500 in that stretch. They are in a terrible division playing terrible teams. Hit the playoffs and they’ll be bounced out by the American League wild card. They aren’t even in the conversation of the other 3. You all picking Cleveland obviously don’t actually know baseball and aren’t looking at real playoff chances but just gleaned some line about them being “hot” right now. They were “hot” last year too and were bounced 3-0 to Houston... who is even better this year. Ridiculous pick.
Houston is best setup for postseason. Their rotation is insane. Definitely the favorites. However, because of their depth, breakout of Ryu (#1 era) and then mainly due to the easier path to the Series, I’m going to pick the Dodgers. The NL outside Dodgers is weak. Don’t have to have the grudge match with the Yankees the Astros will have just to get there. Also, Kershaw is having a quietly great season (#5 in all baseball and actually healthy!). Jansen is the question mark. If he’s top of game, they take it. If not, Astros.

Oh, never mind. The Cubs suck now.
